WordPress.com
Connect a WordPress.com-hosted site so Indexly Content Agents can publish to it. Unlike self-hosted WordPress, this uses OAuth — no application password needed.
What you can do
- Publish Content Agent articles as a draft or live post
- Set category, tags and post status per agent
- Upload featured and inline images to your media library
- Preserve internal links and structured content on publish
Before you begin
- A WordPress.com account with Administrator access to the target site
- A plan that allows publishing via the WordPress.com REST API — the free plan is supported for drafts, but some automation features require a paid plan
Connect
- In Indexly, open Integrations → WordPress.com and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to WordPress.com to sign in and authorize Indexly.
- Choose which site to grant access to, then approve. You'll be redirected back to Indexly.
- Select the site, then set your default post status, category and tags.
- Click Save. Your Content Agents can now target this site.

Troubleshooting
- Site not listed — you authorized a different account, or lack Administrator access. Disconnect and reconnect with the right account.
- Authorization expired — OAuth tokens can be revoked from your WordPress.com security settings. Reconnect in Indexly.
- Publishing blocked — confirm your plan permits API publishing, and that the site isn't set to Private or Coming Soon.
