Rate Limits

To keep the API fast and fair for everyone, requests are rate limited per API key. If you exceed the limit, you will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. Currently you can only send 15 requests per minute through an api key.

Limits

Specific limits depend on your plan. Contact us or check your dashboard for your current quota. In general, we recommend:

• Batching or caching where possible
• Using reasonable polling intervals (e.g. not more than once per minute for the same resource)
• Implementing exponential backoff on 429 responses

Response headers

When rate limited, responses may include headers such as X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, and Retry-After to help you throttle and retry.
